Ella Flowers Character Scholarship

In an effort to encourage the 2023 graduating class of Dr. Martin Luther King High School in Lithonia, Georgia, Decatur Bible Chapel will offer the Ella Flowers Character Scholarship to two winners who will compete in a writing contest addressing the topic “How to make a difficult decision” in the form of a 250 word essay.

A team of  Decatur Bible Chapel members will be responsible for reviewing the essays and identifying the winners. Each winner will receive a $250.00 cash award that will be presented at a Graduation Celebration to be held at Decatur Bible Chapel on June 11th, 2023.

Available to: All Seniors scheduled to graduate in 2023 at MLK High School and committed to being enrolled in secondary education in Fall 2023.

Deadline: April 21, 2023

Award Amount: 2 awards of $250.00 each
