Weekly Sunday Communion
April 4, 2020
Part of the identity of Decatur Bible Chapel is the importance we give to the weekly practice of communion. We honor the shelter in place order from the Governor, but we sincerely miss those times when we gather together to remember our savior the Lord Jesus Christ. The elders are diligently working on a format to do this as a church over the phone and hope to present this for next week, but until then we encourage all families to make a point of having communion prior to watching our service online at 11:30am.
The video link below is a reminder of why we give this practice instituted by Jesus such importance.

This wont last forever dear friends- so we do the best for now – and rejoice no matter the mountain we have to climb. – Those who used to take these Emblems for granted, I know they are thinking differently now- so let the Lord have His way in our lives everyday. Blessings and we pray for each other.
Praise: Today I went for my normal walk of 2 miles and on the way I tripped because of a lip in the road – brothers, God took care of me I saw the concrete coming up to meet me, but I turned into the grassy area and was saved from a hard blow- My pride, fright and praise all rolled together. I give the Lord thanks . Nothing broken or sprained. Thanks be to His matchless name. Give praise with me.
