MLK 2019 seniors to compete for EFCS Scholarships

Decatur Bible Chapel is excited to offer 4 scholarships in the amount of $250 to the 2019 senior class of Martin Luther King High school in Lithonia, Georgia.  These scholarships will be awarded to competing seniors who submit a 250 word essay addressing the topic of “How to make a difficult decision”.  The 4 winning essays will be identified by a team of current and former educators who are members at Decatur Bible Chapel and the scholarships will be awarded at our 2019 Graduation celebration on June 9th, 2019.  There is no entry fee and we welcome all seniors to submit essays via the following link

EFCS is an abbreviation for the Ella Flowers Character Scholarship.  Mrs. Ella Flowers was the wife of the founder of Decatur Bible Chapel, T. Michael Flowers and a life long educator.  She desired that young people learn how to properly communicate in both written and oral forms.  We honor her memory with these scholarships.
